| The ComfortAire GS.1100 is the most fully featured adjustable bed that we have reviewed to date. The primary feature of the GS.1100 is the unique split-top design, which makes the GS.1100 a good candidate for an adjustable base. The 15 inch overall profile contains a couple of inches of soft comfort foam and the 3.5 inch adjustable air chamber (one chamber on twin XL models, 2 on the full, queen, and king sizes), and the comfort quilted cover. There is a thick Omalon support base with full perimeter encasement. The WF4200 WhisperFlo air controller is included with the GS1100, which is the quietest motor offered by ComfortAire. There are also remote handsets with memory and auto fill features for ease of adjustment. The mattress is divided into two pieces at the head, meaning that you can have one mattress on an adjustable base and have each side adjustable independently at the head area. The 20 year warranty on the GS.1100 model covers standard manufacturer defects for the first 4 years at full coverage, then at a pro-rated rate for the balance of the term. For a bed with a $3800.00 price tag, this does seem a little short, but is acceptable in our opinion.
